Amdocs and NASSCOM Foundation together to drive Digital Literacy
Amdocs has partnered with NASSCOM Foundation, a corporate social responsibility arm of NASSCOM, to establish National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) centres in Gurgaon and Pune. The centres will train more than 3,000 underprivileged people this year to become digitally literate.
“We are glad to partner with Amdocs India to set up NDLM centres. Amdocs India has been a consistent contributor towards the skill development and education of less-privileged communities. They were the biggest contributor among all our registered corporate partners in the recently concluded NASSCOM Foundation Digital Literacy Week. Amdocs India employees trained more than 475 underprivileged people on digital skills in a week,” said Ganesh Natrajan, Chairman, NASSCOM Foundation.
“Digital literacy programme of NDLM of NASSCOM Foundation is one of the key contributors towards the government’s effort to empower at least one person per household with crucial digital literacy skills by 2020. Our partnership with NASSCOM Foundation to drive digital literacy programmes reinforces Amdocs India’s commitment towards empowering less-privileged communities with education and skill development,” said Anshoo Gaur, President & Head, Amdocs India...
