Acer Appoints Chandrahas Panigrahi as Senior Director

Chandrahas Panigrahi has joined Acer as a Senior Director – Consumer Business from 04 May, 2015. As part of his primary responsibilities, Panigrahi will be heading the Consumer Business Group which includes the consumer product management team, retail management team, e-Commerce, modern trade and distribution teams. Chandrahas would be reporting directly to Mr. Harish Kohli, Managing Director, Acer India. Symantec Appoints Shrikant Shitole as Managing Director

Symantec Corp. has appointed Shrikant Shitole as Managing Director for its enterprise security business in India. Based in Mumbai, Shitole will be responsible for driving growth for the company by developing and delivering on business strategy. Shitole takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi who has been promoted to Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan sales for Symantec. A seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Shitole has held senior management roles across several enterprises in the IT and telecom segment. Prior to joining Symantec, he was the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Nelco Ltd. (Tata Enterprise), responsible for sales, marketing and product management. Before joining Nelco Ltd. he was the Managing Director for India and SAARC at Avaya Services, responsible for sales and service delivery.
