But what is even more surprising is that more than 40% of the Twitter users worldwide will be in Asia-Pacific alone by 2018. The user growth is expected to continue growing with double-digit gains through 2018, as eMarketer estimates, thus opening up significant opportunities for Twitter to increase its audience across emerging markets.
