With the photo sharing platform, Instagram, confessed that some hackers had exploited a bug on Instagram to sneak out account information of several “High-Profiled” users. Few days after the confession, a hacker group by the name - ‘’ Doxagram" claimed responsibility for the hack and offered details of the stolen accounts for mere $10 per lookup. The service was being offered on an underground internet market.  Recently, the hackers created a website that had, on sale, the emails and phone numbers of 6 million customers of Instagram including Christanio Ronaldo, Jennifer Lopez, Drake as well as personal information of the gen-pop. Reliance Communications has announced that Q3 net profit has gone up 85% in the fiscal third quarter, boosted by the lower cost of financing debt and as more of its subscribers used pricier data services. The company would need to fight to win back airwaves it is currently using in the 900MHz band in seven circles. Since it doesn’t have backup spectrum in other bands to support 2G voice services in these circles, the competition may get intense. The company’s earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization remained nearly flat at  1,851 crore. Its quarterly operating profit margin remained constant at 33.8% sequentially because global operations declined, although profitability improved at its India operations. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE The "Verizon 2012 Data Breach Investigations Report" reveals the dramatic rise of "hacktivism" - cyberhacking to advance political and social objectives. In 2011, 58 percent of data stolen was attributed to hacktivism, according to the annual report released from Verizon. The new trend contrasts sharply with the data-breach pattern of past several years, during which the majority of attacks were carried out by cybercriminals, whose primary motivation was financial gain. Seventy-nine percent of attacks represented in the report were opportunistic. Of all attacks, 96 percent were not highly difficult, meaning they did not require advanced skills or extensive resources. Additionally, 97 percent of the attacks were avoidable, without the need for organizations to resort to difficult or expensive countermeasures. The report also contains recommendations that large and small organizations can implement to protect themselves....

Although the SRG report highlighted the ability of some chipsets to realize the promise of LTE's high data rates, large performance differences were found between commercially-available implementations in devices. Using a lab-based testing approach on the Spirent 8100 solution, SRG collected and analyzed the data performance of five commercial devices from LG, Sierra Wireless, Novatel Wireless, Samsung and Fujitsu, which use chipsets from four different vendors.
