Wipro establishes Andhra Pradesh State Data Centre

Wipro has launched the Andhra Pradesh State Data Centre (APSDC), a Mission Mode Project under the national e-governance plan. It was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Kiran Kumar Reddy, in the presence of Shri Sanjay Jaju, IAS, Secretary to Government, IT&C, and Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS). The State Data Centre will host applications and data of various state departments to enable automation of government and citizen services. Spread across 9,000 sq. ft., the Data Centre (DC) has a storage capacity of 50 TB, expandable to 200 TB.
