Canon experiences diminished Inkjet printer sales

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Canon is experiencing a fall in the sale of its inkjet printer in the domestic market, diminishing personal computer sales as well, but it is believed to reverse the trend from October through household sales. Canon is said to promote the sales of inkjet printers to household users through exclusive retail showroom 'Canon Image Square'. Canon India President & Chief Executive, Kensaku Konishi shared, "With PC market saturating, the function of inkjets is also diminishing and so are their sales. Declining PC market is threatening this segment now, but using inkjet multifunction and new products we will try to increase sales again from the fourth quarter (beginning October). At the moment our market share of inkjet printer is around 15 percent. We will try to acquire 20 percent by end of this year. China ceases 6000+ websites

As per Ministry of Information Technology- maximum of these websites comprised crooked groups which destroyed online news stories and posts content with negative influences or hiring other netizens to spread certain kinds of information or opinions on the internet. Industry and commerce departments all over the country reported 150 cases on illegal online PR deals and seized more than 1.13 million Yuan in a campaign launched in April. According to industry buzz, Absolute figures unveils that more than 790,000 online posts and articles, 1.65 million cached pages containing illegal online PR content had been destroyed during the campaign as of the end of June. It was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Kiran Kumar Reddy, in the presence of Shri Sanjay Jaju, IAS, Secretary to Government, IT&C, and Shri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS). The State Data Centre will host applications and data of various state departments to enable automation of government and citizen services.
