Kritikal showcases its products at InTranSe 2011
Kritkal has displayed its revolutionary products, Trazer (Traffic Analyzer and Enumerator) and KLiPR (Kritikal Licence Plate Recognition system) at the annual Intelligent Transportation System event InTranSe 2011 in Mumbai (IIT Powai).
KLiPR is the state-of-the-art automated number plate recognition system that enables real time identification of vehicles by capturing and analyzing moving vehicles number plate using live camera feeds. KLiPR is based on advanced pattern recognition, image processing and artificial intelligence techniques. The system uses Kritikal's proprietary localization & segmentation algorithms for detection and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine for reading number plates in any language. It integrates seamlessly with physical access control devices like boom barriers and sliding gates.
Trazer is a non-intrusive video processing system that enables counting, classification and verification in dense traffic. It facilitates Automatic Traffic Counting and Classification (ATCC) applications, Video based Incident Detection (VID), Vehicle sensing for signal control, traffic planning by analyzing and computing useful features and data from traffic videos. Trazer is designed considering the traffic scenarios of developed as well as developing nations. A single camera can process 3-4 lanes. Further, it is possible to use Trazer software suite using off the shelf standard cameras which may be pre-deployed, Trazer effectively makes 'dumb' cameras intelligent. One can also use Trazer software to analyze pre-recorded videos also.
