These centres are said to provide office space for third year students to work on their project ideas. The company would interact with students to guide them on their project roadmap besides helping colleges. Ramesh Loganathan, VP & Centre Head, Progress Software India said, "The idea is to find talent quite early and groom them. By the time they complete their course, they are ready with a product. We have invited proposals from students. We will short-list them and pick 8-10 ideas in each college for handholding. These students would get a chance to work on our IT platforms to develop products."
