RCOM & Global Cloud Xchange names its SVP, Global Product Management

Reliance Communications (RCOM) and its subsidiary, Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), has appointed Braham Singh as Senior Vice-President, Global Product Management. He will have overall responsibility for the global product portfolio across RCOM India Enterprise and GCX. In addition, he will also manage the company’s National Long Distance (NLD) and Data Center businesses. Singh has over 30 years of telecom experience, most recently as Vice-President & Senior Advisor for International Business at Hutchison Global Communications (HGC).  He also served as head of the company’s OTT Services, where he was instrumental in the development of HGC’s global infrastructure sales, including that for data centers, content delivery network, cloud and cloud connectivity services. Seagate joins hands with HP over HPC Solutions

Seagate Technology has extended its alliance agreement with the computing leader HP to equip its high-performance computing (HPC) solutions with ClusterStor scale-out storage capabilities. Building on a proven partnership, HP will resell Seagate’s ClusterStor 1500 and 9000 appliances along with its HPC solutions. Sunil Lalvani appointed as Vice-President & President of Qualcomm India

Qualcomm has appointed Sunil Lalvani as Vice-President & President of Qualcomm India. Lalvani will report directly to Cristiano Amon, Executive Vice-President and Co-President, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. With more than 20 years of experience in sales, business development, strategic planning and business operations across the IT and telecom sectors, Lalvani joins Qualcomm from BlackBerry, where he served most recently as Managing Director of India and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation). There, Lalvani was responsible for overseeing and driving BlackBerry’s overall business strategy and growth in India and was focussed on driving differentiated solutions for consumers and enterprise customers.
