In continuance with its endeavor to promote entrepreneurship and startups in India, PayU India, a leading online payment service provider, organized the first edition of UpStart Pitch.  Organized along with KStart and Matrix Partners in search for the next big startup, the event witnessed the presence of 10 startups who pitched their ideas to the judges. To foster the start-up ecosystem in India, Kstart and IBM have entered into collaboration. Kstart portfolio start-ups will have access to IBM mentors and training sessions and gain exposure to IBM’s Global Entrepreneur Program. This program provides business mentoring, technical support, networking opportunities with enterprise clients and credits to help entrepreneurs build their applications on IBM Cloud. To support this boom in the Indian start up ecosystem, Kstart and IBM will work together to spur the next generation of innovation throughout the country and ensure that start-ups have access to the support they need to get their solutions into the marketplace.
