IBM commences MBA Programme for Business Analytics in India

UBI to deploy Mumbai's first 'Talking ATM'

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE NCR Corporation is said to deploy over 100 Voice Guided ATMs - which not only allows access to visually challenged people but also people with physical disabilities through ramps for wheel chair access, for Union Bank of India (UBI) - India’s pioneer public sector bank. The city’s first ‘Talking ATM’ was inaugurated today at The Passport Seva Kendra in Thane by Sri D Sarkar, CMD, UBI. Following the successful pilot and first ‘Talking ATM’ deployment in Ahmedabad, NCR has been contracted to deploy a further such 100 ATMs for UBI, of which, over 50 ATMs will be deployed at Passport Seva Kendras and at other UBI locations around the country. NCR initiates Mobile Cash Withdrawal

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   NCR has announced new software which will enable consumers to initiate cash withdrawals from their banking accounts on mobile devices and then complete those transactions at an ATM by scanning a 2D barcode. NCR Mobile Cash Withdrawal will make ATM transactions faster and more secure, by removing cards and PINs from the process at the ATM. The entire transaction, while the consumer is in front of the ATM, can take less than ten seconds. Consumers will authenticate through their existing mobile banking application and pre-stage the transaction via an embedded NCR Mobile Cash Withdrawal function. Consumers can use any iOS or Android smartphone at any location and at any time and then choose the amount of their transaction. Once at their bank’s ATM, the consumer will use the embedded functionality to scan the 2D barcode on any participating ATM's home screen, and the pre-staged cash transaction will be authorized and funds dispense...

NCR appoints MD for Channel Business in Emerging Markets
