Dell and InMobi join hands over Technology collaboration

Dell and InMobi together will further strengthen their partnership by developing and customizing Dell hardware and software specific to the requirements of InMobi. This engineering partnership for a technology collaboration between InMobi and Dell will help expand the global alliance to improve enterprise efficiency. Through this agreement, InMobi will gain exclusive rights to select Dell products made available for beta testing and customization through the InMobi-Dell data center scalable solutions. Epson and Mumbai Police led raid of counterfeit ink manufacturing unit

In an effort to curb the sale of counterfeit ink bottles and to protect the rights of its customers, Epson has recently increased its vigilance with regard to manufacturers and dealers of counterfeit Epson Ink bottles. On the basis of the Epson vigilance team’s information, the Mumbai Police, in a swift and well-coordinated action, recently raided the premises of a dealer in Malad, Mumbai. This dealer was involved in the manufacture and supply of counterfeit Epson Ink bottles in Mumbai and to other parts of the country. The manufacturer of the Epson counterfeit Ink bottles was arrested and charged under the prevailing laws of the land with counterfeiting and violating intellectual property rights and subsequently remanded to judicial custody. Large quantities of Ink bottles, Epson holograms, and Epson Stickers & Packaging materials have been seized. The seized materials are worth more than 1.1 million rupees. Panasonic India Launches Its First Portable LCD Projector PT-VM350 Series

Panasonic today introduced its new range of Portable LCD Projector VW350 series- PT-VW350, PT-VW355N and PT-VX425 which are a clear departure from the previous projectors mainly targeting lucrative verticals such as education and the corporate sector. The newly launched projectors are priced at 79,000, 1, 05,000, 79,000 respectively. The new projectors are supported by Intel Pro WiDi thereby enabling wireless technology with enhanced security and improved usability. Vodafone in talks with IBM to renew Rs 6,600cr outsourcing contract

Vodafone India has started talks with IBM for renewal of a $1 billion (Rs 6,600 crore) outsourcing contract that is set to expire in June 2016. IBM, while trying to retain the contract, is also trying to sell its data analytics solutions to Vodafone as part of the order. Vodafone outsources services such as management of application development and the IT network. It already has a multi-vendor environment within the company from an IT perspective with TCS, Wipro, and TechM managing some parts. In another development, Bharti Airtel has also renewed its part of its outsourcing deal with IBM for five years and carved out other portions to IT companies including Wipro and Tech Mahindra, while retaining some of the work in-house...
