In a recent news on Google to buy smartphone business of HTC, struggling from a long time to maintain revenues, and the devices haven’t exactly been a hit. In fact with the rise of Chinese players like Oppo, Vivo, Huawei and Xiaomi etc.According  to a report by the Chinese publication Commercial Times, Google is considering two options to seal the deal with HTC that is reportedly building Google's "Pixel 2" line of smartphones.  The Google acquisition is being cited given the close relationship between the two companies. HTC is strategic partner of Google by manufacturing the Google Pixel smartphone and the original Nexus phone was also a HTC device.
