HTC Explorer to Offer Hindi and Tamil Language Support

HTC Corporation has announced that HTC Explorer will be the first Android device to offer full support for text input and display of Hindi and Tamil languages. HTC Explorer users will be able to view and compose content in Hindi and Tamil on any Android application and they will have exclusive access to high quality fonts and some of the best designed virtual keyboards for Hindi and Tamil.

"Language is the basic medium in which people communicate and people communicate most effectively and smoothly in a language which they grew up and are familiar with. That's why HTC has made Indian language support a key priority as part of our commitment to India." said Lennard Hoornik, president, South Asia, HTC Corporation.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
