Odisha IT Department to invest Rs.150 Crore

Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, is all set to become a Wi-Fi enabled city. The free Wi-Fi service will help the citizens to access Internet at public places, with the help of handheld devices. As part of the smart city project to make the city Wi-Fi enabled, the state government’s IT Department has planned to invest Rs.150 crore. The state nodal agency, Odisha Computer and Application Center (OCAC) and Software Technology Park of India (Bhubaneswar), is working closely towards this ambitious project. NASSCOM inaugurates its second warehouse in Bengaluru

After successfully setting up start-up warehouse in Bengaluru, the National Association of Software & Services (NASSCOM) has announced the inauguration of its second warehouse in the city in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Minister for Bengaluru Development and Town Planning K. J. George, NASSCOM President R. Chandrashekhar, and NASSCOM 10,000 Start-ups Vice-President Rajat Tandon. Over the years, Bengaluru has developed as the start-up capital of India. The city has nearly 3,100 to 4,900 dynamic tech start-ups and has attained the second-highest growth rate for exit volume and VC investment among the top 20. The company has also planned a slew of activities to engage and educate the Print service providers (PSPs) involved in general commercial printing and labels and packaging helping them explore the immense possibilities with HP’s digital print technology and provide increased value to their end-customers through unique application and improved automation.
