Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, is all set to become a Wi-Fi enabled city. The free Wi-Fi service will help the citizens to access Internet at public places, with the help of handheld devices. As part of the smart city project to make the city Wi-Fi enabled, the state government’s IT Department has planned to invest Rs.150 crore. According to its unit sales to thin-client customers last year, AMD has more than half of that market, with 53-per cent market share.
