Odisha IT Department to invest Rs.150 Crore

Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, is all set to become a Wi-Fi enabled city. The free Wi-Fi service will help the citizens to access Internet at public places, with the help of handheld devices.

As part of the smart city project to make the city Wi-Fi enabled, the state government’s IT Department has planned to invest Rs.150 crore. The state nodal agency, Odisha Computer and Application Center (OCAC) and Software Technology Park of India (Bhubaneswar), is working closely towards this ambitious project.
