The live demonstration at a recent China Information Technology Show in Beijing marks a new world record for the 4G mobile broadband technology. In addition, Nokia Siemens Networks is the first vendor to complete Phase 1 and 2 of China Mobile's (CMCC) TD-LTE field tests and leads the industry with its TD-LTE key performance indicators (KPIs). VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Nokia Siemens Networks is strengthening its TD-LTE (time division duplex long term evolution) technology to support the 1.9GHz frequency bands. The move is said to allow operators to use existing 1.9GHz spectrum allocations to provide TD-LTE services. China Mobile has specific plans to evolve its TD-SCDMA network to dual-mode, supporting both TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE services in the 1.9GHz band via a simple software upgrade.
