ON Semiconductor Corporation has announced its acquisition of SensL Technologies Ltd ("SensL"). The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to ON Semiconductor's non-GAAP earnings per share. The NCP6338 has a programmable output voltage range from 0.6 volts (V) to 1.4 V in 6.25 millivolt (mV) increments while operating down to an input voltage of 2.3 V. The NCP1840 is said to be ideal for multi-LED status indicators that communicate status and diagnostic conditions to the user, and can help differentiate an end product via LED animation. By utilizing the NCP1840, engineers can offload some of the work normally handled by the processor in their system design, as it no longer needs to directly control each individual LED.
