DX-924U-ARO Router launched

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Dax Networks has launched DX-924U-ARO, a 3G-enabled wireless broadband router for SMBs with150 mbps bandwidth. DX-924U-ARO comes with the IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 wireless standards and supports various wireless standards in 3G like external HSxPA (High Speed Xlink Packet Access), EVDO (Evolution-Data Optimized), TD-WCDMA (Time Division-WidebandCode Division Multiple Access) and 3G modem through the USB port. DX-924U-ARO also supports additional 10/100 WAN (Wide Area Network) ports. In case of failover in the WAN port, 3G automatically becomes active with auto failover function. Synology debuts DSM 4.1 Beta

ZTE wins Viettel 2G/3G Network Contract

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   ZTE has announced that it has won a national 2G/3G wireless network project in Peru with mobile operator Viettel. During the first phase of the project, ZTE will build more than 2,000 base stations. As part of the contract, ZTE will provide its innovative Uni-RAN solution to Viettel. This solution includes a series of products based on SDR technology which can combine multiple modes and evolve to next-generation networks seamlessly. ZTE will also provide operation management services such as its radio network optimization network tool to Viettel. The completed network will cover all of Peru. “In 2009, ZTE became Viettel’s first 3G networking equipment supplier in Vietnam.
