During the first phase of the project, ZTE will build more than 2,000 base stations. As part of the contract, ZTE will provide its innovative Uni-RAN solution to Viettel. This solution includes a series of products based on SDR technology which can combine multiple modes and evolve to next-generation networks seamlessly. ZTE will also provide operation management services such as its radio network optimization network tool to Viettel. The completed network will cover all of Peru. “In 2009, ZTE became Viettel’s first 3G networking equipment supplier in Vietnam.
