DX-924U-ARO Router launched
Dax Networks has launched DX-924U-ARO, a 3G-enabled wireless broadband router for SMBs with150 mbps bandwidth.
DX-924U-ARO comes with the IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 wireless standards and supports various wireless standards in 3G like external HSxPA (High Speed Xlink Packet Access), EVDO (Evolution-Data Optimized), TD-WCDMA (Time Division-WidebandCode Division Multiple Access) and 3G modem through the USB port. DX-924U-ARO also supports additional 10/100 WAN (Wide Area Network) ports. In case of failover in the WAN port, 3G automatically becomes active with auto failover function. With this feature, the backup link can be initiated automatically when the primary link fails.
Moreover, the router is integrated with Network Address Advisor (NAT) and supports various routing protocols like Static IP, Dynamic IP, PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunnelling Protocol), L2TP (Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol), PPPoE (Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet) and 3G. Support for L2TP VPN helps to create tunnel to the central location.
