With the Supreme Court (SC) upholding the government requirement that PAN must be mandatorily linked with Aadhaar, Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act comes into play. As per this section, if your PAN is not linked with Aadhaar by a date to be notified by the government then it would be deemed to become invalid. Police Commissioner Manoj Agrawal, who had banned the game in the city in a March 6 notification, said 12 cases have been registered so far. “But it is a bailable offence. People have been booked but there is nothing like arrest in it. In the procedure, they will be shown as immediately bailed out by police. Philadelphia banned cashless stores : The city of Philadelphia has banned cashless stores, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, in a move that “will require most retail stores to accept cash” as opposed to credit cards or mobile devices.
