Bharati Airtel with Nokia to extend Deployment of VSP Network Solution in 15 Circles : An Automated Data Center Network: India's leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel with Finnish telecommunication giant Nokia are going to introduce Automation in Data Center Network by extending the deployment of Nokia's Nuage Networks VSP (virtualised services platform) solution in 15 circles (service areas) in the northern and southern parts of the country, reported on Wednesday. Nuage Networks is a Nokia venture focused on software-defined networking solution.

IFFCO selects KPIT Cummins to implement OTM

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE IFFCO has announced that it has selected KPIT Cummins to strengthen its supply chain execution using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). As part of this strategic engagement, KPIT Cummins will build a comprehensive transportation management platform to integrate IFFCO group's supply chain processes as well as those of its external carriers. This is one of the largest OTM implementations in the Middle East and will be completed in 14 months. The scope of this multidimensional transformational project includes streamlining of all logistics and transportation - domestic and international - across IFFCO's entire supply chain from inbound raw and packing materials to finished goods distribution.
