Google India has launched its much-awaited Nexus phones in partnership with the leading smartphone makers LG and Huawei. Running on its latest version of Android “Marshmallow 6.0″, Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P offer a pure Android experience, sweetened by amazing apps and sandwiched by some cutting-edge hardware, available across Nexus devices. Speaking at the launch, David Shapiro, Global Director of Chrome and Android Marketing, Google, said, “India is now the fastest-growing smartphone market in the world, and it is exciting to launch our newest Nexus phones here. Google has launched the next two Nexus smartphones, manufactured by Chinese firm Huawei and Korean electronics major LG. The Nexus phone manufactured by Huawei is named as Nexus 6P and the LG made phone is called Nexus 5X. Hiroshi Lockheimer, VP Android, Chromecast and Chrome OS at Google, said in company’s official blog that the Nexus 6P is the first all-metal-body Nexus phone. Built in collaboration with Huawei, this 5.7″ phone is crafted from aeronautical-grade aluminium, with a USB Type-C port for fast charging, a powerful 64-bit processor, and a 12.3MP camera sensor with massive 1.55µm pixels (hello, better photos!). The 5.7-inch device comes with WQHD AMOLED display and framed upon an all-aluminium metallic body. The phone uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and 2GB RAM.
