Recently government of India appointed Dr. Khatua as special envoy to South Sudan and Sudan to broker peace between the two nations. He is currently working as an additional secretary in the Ministry of External  Affairs.By his appointment Government of India expects the Trade among both countries will double to 5 Billion in a period of Two years. Dr. Amarendra Khatua is a carrier diplomat. He did his graduation from Delhi University in 1978. He is a poet and has written several poems in Odia. In February 2011, Telefonica selected NEC as a strategic partner to promote cloud computing in Latin America. As a result, Telefonica is now approaching its customers with a new option based on the SaaS business system (Software as a Service), designed to facilitate access to a variety of digital applications and services where the customer only pays for the number of licences that are used. This project allows Telefonica to boost its services in Latin America by using more efficient model that reduces time-to-market.
