CA Technologies to acquire Xceedium

CA Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Xceedium. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close within the quarter. Acquiring Xceedium will extend CA’s security portfolio, giving customers a comprehensive solution for controlling and protecting IT administrator or other privileged user accounts from external attacks or insider mistakes and malicious misuse. “Our digital world gives organizations tremendous opportunity. CA Technologies Study discloses the State of Big Data Infrastructure

A global study, commissioned by CA Technologies, has revealed that Enterprise Big Data strategies are delivering key benefits to organizations, despite noted challenges in implementation. 44 percent of the Indian respondents have already implemented a Big Data project while 36 percent plan to implement one in the coming year. As per CA Technologies’ global study, Enterprise Big Data strategies are delivering key benefits to organizations despite noted challenges in implementation. Most notably, nine out of 10 organizations are experiencing or anticipate seeing, more effective targeted marketing and selling campaigns. Additionally, 88 per cent see or anticipate increased revenue. These benefits are impressive despite 92 per cent of respondents citing obstacles to their Big Data projects. 50% above Businesses opt Private Cloud
