COAI has announced that “Sabka Internet, Sab ka Vikas”, its campaign for net neutrality, net equality and consumer choice, has received support from over 40 lakh Indian mobile users in under a week. Launched on 22nd April, 2015, “Sabka Internet, Sab ka Vikas” is a campaign about making the Internet accessible and affordable for every Indian. In addition, it is about ensuring that everyone has the right to choose what they want to access, ensuring access to solutions that make the internet affordable for all, and applying the same rules for the same services to all. Microsoft and Autodesk together to make 3D printing more accessible

Autodesk has tied up with Microsoft to embed its 3D printing platform in Windows 10, and that it intends to make its 3D modelling software interoperable with Microsoft’s mixed reality environment, Microsoft HoloLens. In the first initiative, Autodesk will embed its Spark 3D printing software platform in Windows 10. This effort will provide Windows users with direct access to optimized and more reliable 3D printing experiences that streamline the additive manufacturing process for a variety of software, material, and printer choices. Autodesk will make the Spark APIs available for free to the Microsoft developer community to build upon, extending the reach and growth of the 3D printing industry. Major Telecom Providers slash Roaming rates as per TRAI guidelines

Starting today, roaming rates are getting cheaper with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) reducing ceiling tariffs for national roaming and directing telecom companies to offer special roaming tariff plan. TRAI has earlier issued a Draft Telecommunication Tariff (60th Amendment) Order, 2015 for comments of the stakeholders. After examining the comments of the stakeholders and further analysis, the Authority revised the ceiling tariffs for voice calls and SMS while on national roaming. Effective from May 1st, major telecom providers have started circulating the new revised rates that customers are going to enjoy on national roaming. Tata Docomo has announced the revised roaming tariffs according to which customers will now pay less for both local and STD calls on National Roaming. On roaming, for all outgoing local calls, now the customer has to pay 80 paise/minute from the earlier Rs 1/min, and for STD calls it is Rs 1.15/min from earlier Rs 1.5/min. For incoming c
