LG brings Flex2 in India

LG Electronics has announced availability of its premium flagship smartphone, LG G Flex2 in India, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with X10 LTE, a product of Qualcomm Technologies. Bollywood superstars Anil Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri showcased their directorial debut through 4K Ultra HD videos and still shots on the G Flex2. The handset boasts curve design, 4K Ultra HD camera and a brilliant immersive screen. The G Flex 2 is the latest addition to LG’s G Flex line of smartphones and has been improved with an advanced four side curved design and a slimmed down, higher-resolution display to support better ergonomics.

The G Flex 2 comes with an advanced design, faster performance and more importantly greater convenience. Powered by the Snapdragon 810 processor, the LG G Flex2 comes with 64-bit octa-core CPUs and integrated X10 LTE for a fast and smooth performance. The Snapdragon 810 processor also features integrated 3x20MHz Carrier Aggregation support for fast, efficient connectivity. Its 5.5-inch display gets a bump up to Full HD, while the updated software offers even more convenience through all-new features such as Gesture View and Glance View. The unique “Self-Healing” back cover from the original G Flex carries over to the G Flex 2 and is now faster and more effective than before.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
