STMicroelectronics to host IEEE Workshop in Delhi

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   In association with  IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (IEEE-SSCS) , Delhi Chapter,  STMicroelectronics India  has announced to  host a workshop on advanced analog design at Greater Noida, India , on December 2, 2013. The event is expected to witness over 250 technologists in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India, providing them with opportunity for hands-on design and simulations using free software tools. The ST workshop aims to facilitate focussed interactions between the distinguished IEEE lecturer and academia/students while providing them with an opportunity for a hands-on experience in PLL design presented by experts on PLL and frequency synthesis. Mahindra Engineering to merge with Tech Mahindra

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   The Board of Directors of  Tech Mahindra Limited (Tech Mahindra)  and Mahindra Engineering Services Limited (MES) , in their respective meetings, have approved a proposal to merge MES with Tech Mahindra, according to the latest update. This merger will see the creation of one of the  prominent players providing engineering services  from India with strengths in the Aerospace and Automotive verticals. Bharti Airtel offers e-Commerce Platform for SMEs

BSNL launches "Bharat Phone" with Pantel Technologies

India all set to commence Cloud Computing Project "Meghraj"

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   As per a latest announcement,  Meghraj, the Union Government's cloud computing project , Meghraj is all set to roll out next month. The project will initially focus on an e-Governance app store at the  National Data Center . Among other things, the Meghraj will also be a repository and marketplace of e-governance apps. These are cloud-ready apps that can run on national clouds or others. They are also downloadable, and can be run at state data centers. The project can find application in areas like PDS and land records. However, specifics of such application are yet to be worked out. The DeitY functions under the Union Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, said  Renu Budhiraja, a Senior Director, Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY).
