Edimax introduces iQ Setup

The smart iQ Setup is a new feature of Edimax routers that allows even the most inexperienced users to set up an Edimax router with iPhone or a computer quick and effortlessly. With iQ Setup, most of the setup process is done automatically. Little to no configuration is required on the user's part and no installation of CD is necessary. Edimax routers to be implemented with iQ Setup in Q4 2011 include BR-6228nS, BR-6228nC, BR-6258n, and BR-6428nS, respectively. iQ Setup is designed with smart technology that allows it to detect one's Internet connection type automatically and complete most of the required configuration for you. After the appropriate cable connections are made, all you need to do is to open your iPhone or computer's web browser and iQ Setup will start detecting your Internet connection type automatically.
