Moving further with innovation and to boost and play monopoly,  HP introduces ink tank printers to lower printing cost . To meet its objective, it launched new HP DeskJet GT series printers to serve small businesses that tend to lower cost of printing. The HP DeskJet GT series prints up to 8,000 pages with a set of three HP spill-free colour bottles and up to 5,000 pages with the HP spill-free black pigment ink bottle. I-MADE Program aims to build 1 million mobile app start-ups

An initiative by EVC & TCOE (Telecom Centers of Excellence), the I-MADE program has been inaugurated by Mr J. S. Deepak, Secretary, DoT, Government of India, and Mr N. Sivasailam, Additional Secretary, Telecom, DoT, Government of India. Innovation in Mobile App Development Ecosystem (I-MADE) framework is a 5-year program, under which 11 institutions were selected to be part of Phase I. One hundred (100) institutes will be selected to be a part in Phase II of the program and Phase III will include up to 35,000 institutions. Lava floods 4G smartphone market with new devices

Lava International has launched a range of affordable 4G devices, beginning with the launch of A71. This will be followed by A88 and X11 in the coming weeks. The three new 4G smartphones are priced at Rs.5,000 onwards.
