A  "Malicious Third Party" - hacked about 100 millions of user data from Quora by unauthorized access to its core system, acknowledged by a knowledge-sharing website said on this Monday. "We are writing to let you know that we recently discovered that some user data was compromised as a result of unauthorized access to our systems by a malicious third party." - this is the mail from Quora to all of its users and requested to change their password soon. Cyber Criminals hacked Andhra Govt. websites

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE The cyber criminals broke into one of the government servers and hacked as many as 27 websites of various departments of Andhra Pradesh exposing the chinks in the state's cyber security. It is believed that the hackers did not deface the pages or steal the information but only added additional pages with their message. The websites which were hacked include those of departments of commercial taxes, general administration department, horticulture, factories, gazette notifications and government orders. Some Bangladeshi hacking groups are suspected to be behind the incident. Ponnala Lakshmaiah, State Information Technology Minister claimed, "There was no loss of data. One of the 50 government servers was hacked and 27 websites supported by the server were affected." Microsoft India retail-site hacked

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Microsoft India's retail website (www.microsoftstore.co.in), which sells Microsoft products, was hacked. According to market buzz, the customer information including usernames and passwords would have been compromised. The Chinese hacking group called Evil Shadow Team is believed to be the one behind the attack. On being hacked it is forced to shut down and is showing error message that "The Microsoft Store India is currently unavailable". Microsoft has claimed that it is investigating a limited compromise of the company's online store in India. The store customers have already been sent guidance on the issue and suggested immediate actions and the team is diligently working to remedy the issue and keep customers protected.
