Fujitsu product portfolio now available under DGS&D RC

MAIT aims at Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE The Manufacturers' Association for Information Technology (MAIT) hosted the ceremonial "labelling" of the energy-efficient label programme launched by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the Ministry of Power. With this, BEE has formally set energy efficiency standards and labelling programme for computer notebooks and IT products in India. The models labelled during the launch were HP notebook 6440b, HP notebook Pavilion dv6-3208 tx and HCL Me series 54 laptop. Dell and Chirag Computers also announced their BEE- compliant laptops. HP and Canon also respectively announced that they would support the emerging BEE standard for OA and printers. In fact, HP 1025 LJ printer and Canon LJ LBP 7200cd on display were BEE compliant and would be the first set of printers to get the BEE label in the country.
