GOI comes up with guidelines for safety and surveillance standards
There had been a lot of discussion on safety and security and lot of companies are making wearable and application about safety and security, health and fitness, etc. According to Gartner, there will be nearly 26 billion devices on the Internet of Things by 2020. But for this it is important that everyone should follow the same standards. In line with this, the Government of India under the initiative of Department of Telecommunication (DoT) and Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) has created the guidelines for M2M Communications. In the conference held in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, TEC with contribution from Smart24x7, introduced its report on M2M communications and claimed that this innovation would certainly change the way humans live.
