Ratan Tata invests in Ola Electric Mobility

Ratan Tata invests in Ola Electric Mobility : Ola Electric Mobility (Ola Electric) announced that Ratan Tata,the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, has invested in the company as part of its Series A round of funding. This investment is in Ratan Tata’s personal capacity in the newly formed Electric Mobility company. Tata is also an early investor in ANI Technologies Pvt Ltd, Ola's parent company. Tata's investment in Ola Electric is a significant endorsement of the company's approach to developing an electric mobility ecosystem, including innovations in charging infrastructure, swapping models, and market-appropriate products. Ola Electric is currently running several pilots involving charging solutions, battery swapping stations, and deploying vehicles across two, three and four-wheeler segments. Mozilla releasing fix for Firefox extensions bug : Mozilla has started releasing a fix for a bug that prevented existing and new add-ons from running or being installed on the Firefox browser late on Friday. “The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours. Microsoft’s Azure Speech Services Can Transcribe Multi-User Conversations in Real Time, Without Using Additional Hardware : As a part of the Azure Speech Services, an advanced speech-to-text offering called Conversation Transaction Service is announced by Microsoft at its annual Build developer conference on Monday.The new service is designed to not only recognise the voice but also correctly identify the speakers and transcribe their conversations in real time. Last year, Microsoft notably introduced a device prototype that had an array of microphones to identify attendees in meetings and enable real-time transcriptions. That hardware will be available as a reference through a Developer Device Kit. However, the new offering is touted to enable transcriptions in meetings without the use of any specific hardware. Another type of Cyber Crime : Fraudsters Cheat Ambuja cement buyers using fake website : Another incident happend in Mumbai on Monday, for Ambuja Cements customers where fraudsters received orders for cement on the website ambujacement.ind.in, which is not used by the company. Soon after Ambuja Cements  has filed a complaint against the fake website created by fraudsters, which was being used to misappropriate funds from customers of the cement company by directing them to a benami bank account. In define newer opportunity,  Facebook  is trying the luck in it’s  marketplace ,  where the users in America can now pay for their purchases directly on the platform and then get their goods shipped to anywhere in the country. "People will soon be able to ship Marketplace items anywhere in the continental US and pay for their purchases directly on Facebook. For sellers this means reaching more buyers and getting paid securely, and for buyers this means shopping more items - near or far. Currently, Marketplace has a local classified focus, but the new payment and shipping option brings the service into competition with  Amazon  and  eBay marketplace . Buyers can browse the service and then make an offer and specify whether they want the item shipped. The seller has 24 hours to accept.
