Microsoft's Windows XP support cut-off to put ATMs at Security Risk

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   With  Microsoft(NASDAQ:MSFT)  all set to end support on  8 April for the thirteen-year-old operating system Windows XP , the company has issued a warning to loyal Windows XP users  to get ready to deal with the potential cyber attacks targeting their systems after the official end of the support. In India as most of the ATMs (automated teller machines) are yet to migrate to the later versions they may face the array of security issues which will be accompanied by the end of support for XP. In a blog post, Tim Rains, Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Group (TwC) director, advised businesses not to use XP. Failing to do so will put them and their customers at increased risk.
