Muniyappa has informed the Parliament of India about their planning to provide Internet facility in three rakes (group of coaches or wagons) of Howrah Rajdhani Express on a pilot basis. According to him, this facility is said to work on a satellite based system and the connection will be shared across railway coaches through Wi-Fi. TRAI rigid on Pesky Calls & SMS

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has announced that total 22769 subscribers have been disconnected for making pesky calls or messages through individual numbers. It is strictly enforcing the regulations from Unsolicited Commercial calls and SMSs. The regulator has also imposed penalty on 94 telemarketing companies for violating the rules on commercial calls and SMS. Four telemarketing firms have been blacklisted. According to TRAI, "As per the regulations, if unsolicited commercial calls and SMSs are sent from individual numbers, notice will be served to the customer and his number will be disconnected on second violation." Red Hat reports Financial Results

Total revenue for the quarter was US$297.0 million, an increase of 21% from the year ago quarter. Subscription revenue for the quarter was US$255.2 million, up 22% year-over-year. For the full fiscal year 2012, total revenue was US$1.13 billion, an increase of 25% over the prior year, and subscription revenue was US$965.6 million, up 25% year-over-year.
