PM Modi inaugurates driverless Delhi Metro:  India's first driverless train on   Delhi Metro's Magenta Line   was inaugurated by   Prime Minister Modi . He also launched the   National Common Mobility Card , an inter-operable transport facility that allows users to pay for travel, toll duties, retail shopping, and withdraw money using one card.   The driverless trains will be fully automated, eliminating the possibility of human error, officials say. The service will be available on Delhi Metro's Magenta Line which connects Janakpuri West in West Delhi to Botanical Garden in Noida. Vodafone Idea enables 3G spectrum for 4G services in Mumbai:  Vodafone Idea   has announced to start using 3G spectrum for 4G services in Mumbai and claimed that customers in the metro city will get higher data speed with the reframing of spectrum.   Vodafone Idea has 5 megahertz of spectrum in 2100 Mhz band which was being used for 3G services. Vi is on 3G connection and can get faster 4G experience when they use a 4G handset and a 4G SIM. The company also said that it will continue to provide 2G services in Mumbai.   In a statement,  Rajendra Chourasia, Operations Director- Mumbai, Vodafone Idea  said, "Supplementing the existing 4G infrastructure with the expansion on 2100 MHz layer has brought about enhanced data speeds, besides a better indoor network experience for Vi customers in Mumbai. Indian app could able to substitute the absence of TikTok:  Dailyhunt, the owner of Josh   which is currently the leading domestic platform, launched apps like   MX TakaTak ,   Roposo ,   Chingari , Moj Mitron, Trell and others to fill the huge void.   They have claimed to have 40 per cent market share of their Chinese rival TikTok since the Indian government banned it alonMog with other apps in June this year. Bengaluru headquartered VerSe Innovation, operates news aggregator and content platform Dailyhunt and short video platform Josh, has announced the completion of its staggered $100 million fundraise from Google, Microsoft and AlphaWave (a unit of Falcon Edge Capital)and valued over $1 billion.   Initially the agency started as NewsHunt, the platform was founded in 2009 by Umesh Kulkarni and Chandrashekhar Sohoni. It was acquired by VerSe Innovations in 2012 and rebranded as Dailyhunt in 2015. Existing investors Sofina Group and Lupa Systems also participated in this funding round

Zoom to start its own email service in the coming year:  After making leadership position in the video calling market during the pandemic,   Zoom   is now planning to develop an email service and release it next year, along with working on a calendar application, to take on giants like Google and Microsoft.   Expert says that ,it is a straight competition among the Google, Hotmail yahoo and others. Zoom Video Communications has begun developing a web email service and might offer a very early version of the product to some customers next year . Sources said, the company also is looking into building a calendar application.   Recently in October, Zoom made its new end-to-end encryption (E2EE) feature available to users globally, free and paid, for meetings with up to 200 participants and the company has had a super year, with its stock price rising more than 500% owing to the unprecedented surge in remote work and learning.
