Norton partners with HCL Digilife

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Crime involving mobile devices is on the rise, with a 93 per cent increase in mobile vulnerabilities observed last year.  Addressing this, Norton by Symantec has announced a partnership with Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services, a subsidiary of HCL Infosystems Ltd. for distribution of Norton Mobile Security for Android devices across India. Acronis to protect hub+ virtual environment

In doing so, it has cut the time taken to recover a failed virtual machine by over a fifth.    Crispin Green, IT manager, hub+, explained, “We initially picked Veeam but realised quite quickly that when we needed to add extra hosts and VMs the price went up considerably due to the extra licenses. Freescale's TSS portfolio expanded

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Freescale is extending its Xtrinsic touch-sensing software (TSS) portfolio with a flexible solution that provides added microcontroller (MCU) functionality without increasing system cost. New features include water tolerance, noise detection and a touch-detection algorithm for reduced false touches under electrical noise. Building on the TSS library, TSS 3.0 offers a comprehensive solution with complementary licensed software and cost-effective development tools. In addition, TSS 3.0 works with Freescale’s touch-sensing input (TSI) module, which is embedded into several hardware platforms.
