Crime involving mobile devices is on the rise, with a 93 per cent increase in mobile vulnerabilities observed last year.  Addressing this, Norton by Symantec has announced a partnership with Digilife Distribution and Marketing Services, a subsidiary of HCL Infosystems Ltd. for distribution of Norton Mobile Security for Android devices across India. With this partnership, consumers can now purchase Norton Mobile Security at over 60,000 mobile retail outlets, apart from leading e-tailers.
A recent Norton survey that sheds light on Indians’ mobile phone usage habits revealed that 73 percent of connected Indians believe that security software would have helped in their mobile data recovery.
