While the new White House Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force formed by Donald Trump on 10 May 2018 has the potential to drive AI-enabled technological innovation and development, especially on defense issues, the benefits to key US technology segments such as telecoms remain to be seen, says leading data and analytics company GlobalData. Speaking during the launch of Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Baghpat on Sunday, Modi said that mobile phone factories increased from just 2 to 120 in last four years - many of which have opened in Delhi-NCR providing more job opportunities. In last two years, these companies have begun manufacturing cellphones, the Modi said, adding that the infrastructure creation does not differentiate on the basis caste, creed, religion and economic status. India & Indonesia agree to trade to $50 billion

India and Indonesia have agreed to double their efforts to boost bilateral trade to $50 billion by 2025. As per the record of Indonesia’s Central Statistics Agency (BPS), trade between the two countries in 2017 was $18.13 billion in 2017 with Indonesia’s exports to India reaching $14.08 billion and its imports from India standing at $4.05 billion. Integrated Logistics Division being created to facilitate exporters

To increase the exports with integrated logistics division, Government has come up with a clear mandate of support, Minister of State of Commerce & Industry, C R Chaudhary asked the exporting community to further build on the exports of over USD 76 billion in 2017-18. Giving away EEPC India National Awards in New Delhi last evening to 110 engineering exporters, Chaudhary said that it is significant that these entrepreneurs made this possible in 2016-17 when the going was tough and there were lot of headwinds in the global economy. However, things improved in the following 2017-18 and the prospects seem equally encouraging this year.
