VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   The Redmond giant has notched yet another acquisition. According to the latest update, Microsoft Corp  has bought a new start-up id8 Group R2 Studios Inc. The latest acquisition will help Microsoft to expand further in technology focussed on the home and entertainment. Started in 2011, id8 Group R2 Studios is founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor Blake Krikorian. Recently, Krikorian launched a Google Android application which is likely to facilitate users to control home heating and lighting systems from smartphones.  It is worth noticing here that Krikorian is an ex-amazon.com. According to the latest report generated by IAMAI, mobile Internet users in India are expected to reach to a benchmark of  165 million by March 2014.
