Google and AP Govt. sign MOU
VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE The Government of Andhra Pradesh and Google India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s vision of transforming the state of Andhra Pradesh to "Digital AP." To realise this vision, Google India - in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh state government - will launch a number of initiatives aimed towards bridging the Digital divide, and enabling skill development, leading to economic growth. Under the memorandum, Google India will work with the AP government to get women and small and medium businesses online and help them gain from the internet economy.
