Arecont Vision's Mega Pixel Cameras receive UL Listing

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Arecont Vision camera technology has announced that a wide range of Arecont Vision mega pixel camera models have achieved UL listing by Underwriters Laboratories, under the UL-60950-1 standard for Information Technology Equipment. Arecont Vision is the first high volume mega pixel security camera manufacturer to UL list its products. "The UL listing provides confirmation of safety and quality, and ensures design consultants, specifiers and systems integrators that Arecont Vision mega pixel cameras are compliant," said Raul Calderon, Senior Vice-President of Marketing, Arecont Vision. Sloka Telecom launches Cost-Effective Broadband Solutions

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Sloka Telecom has launched the cost-effective wireless broadband solutions targeted at Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) of emerging countries. Sloka Telecom offers these solutions in both licensed and unlicensed spectrums of 3.3 - 3.6 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Sloka's solution provides last-mile access for broadband and telephony networks. "There is a lot of confusion in the market about the impact the move from 34 to 25nm flash will have on both the price and the performance of solid-state drives," said John Beekley, Vice-President of Technical Marketing, Corsair. "We have been working closely with SandForce to ensure the smoothest possible transition and we are sharing the details today." Flash memory manufacturers are transitioning to using 25nm process for fabrication, allowing them to boost capacity and reduce costs, which in turn will allow SSD suppliers to pass those savings to the consumer.
