Tally's new release resolves to meet evolving business needs
Tally Solutions has launched its Tally.ERP 9 Series "A" Release 3.0, specifically designed for seamless business execution. With this new release, Tally has introduced new features and enhanced functionalities including incorporation of the new Rupee symbol; extending its reach in the Middle East with the introduction of its bidirectional language feature; simplification of business processes via Job Work, and Payroll via Income Tax for payroll. With all this and a host of other new capabilities, Tally has become India's most comprehensive business management software and extended its reach beyond borders.
Tally.ERP 9 Series "A" Release 3.0 allows the use of the new Rupee symbol, thereby addressing the pressing needs of the industry in terms of output capability.
Tally also provides another interesting feature that facilitates for "inter-currency" conversion. Tally allows the user to select a base currency (say INR in this case) and converts the consolidated reports of all international branches of the business into the same. Hence, if a business unit has branches in the US as well as UK, the reports will be churned out not with the corresponding "$" or "£" values but in 'S'. This facility, however, requires the user to feed the current currency values into the system to enable this function.
According to Shoaib Ahmed, President, Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd., "Most often, Simple is confused with Basic, Tally.ERP 9 is very simple to use, yet comprehensive. The focus has been to absorb the complexity of providing a simple yet functionally rich and flexible product. With the inclusion of the Rupee symbol, Job Work for Outsourced manufacturing and Arabic, etc., the capability of Tally.ERP 9 has gone a couple of notches up."
Tally.ERP 9 is compatible with languages that follow the right to left script. On selecting Arabic as the Display language, Tally.ERP 9 will switch over to the right to left script retaining all the existing functionalities and reports intact. This unique feature will now enable businesses in the Middle East to interact more freely with the rest of the world, view and print reports from Arabic to English or vice versa.
