VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   To add flavor to the start of their I/O conference, Google announced the launch of its much-awaited 7-inch tablet. The Nexus 7 sports a 7-inch, IPS (in-plane switching) screen, with a resolution of 1,280x800 pixels. The tablet measures 10.45mm thick and weighs 0.7 pound. Featuring a 1.3GHz Nvidia quad-core Tegra 3 it also includes a 12-core GPU. The Nexus 7 will be the first device to run the latest version of the Android 4.1 OS, also known as Jelly Bean. Though Android 4.1 but the device is just as customizable as previous incarnations of the OS, the way it's presented on this tablet feels much more controlled and focused.  The home screen is presented in portrait mode only and doesn’t rotate. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Fortinet has delivered the highest level of combined intrusion prevention system (IPS) performance and catch rate of the industry. Those results were achieved with the FortiGate-3950B, Fortinet's next-generation firewall appliance for large enterprise and data center environments, and are based on the tests performed using Breaking Point security testing products and NSS Labs test criteria methodology. Following the NSS Labs IPS testing methodology, two L4 and L7 tests were conducted on the Fortigate-3950B appliance, one with IPS optimization enabled and the other without. The traffic set up was unidirectional and a large number of IP addresses were used on both the client and server sides to provide the most realistic testing conditions that reflect the largest number of devices present on a network.
