VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS, Pilani) has announced that it has begun the implementation of open standards-based Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise Applications to automate its academic and administrative functions. With this software solution, the university will be able to offer a robust and scalable online, self-service interface for its 30,000 students, faculty members and administrative staff. BITS, Pilani will integrate operations of all its campuses in India and abroad (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Dubai) and will enable the university to integrate its student lifecycle academic, HR and finance functions of its existing legacy systems to the new-generation PeopleSoft applications.
