Why Moscow temporary disconnects its Internet Services ? : Russia has decided to cut itself off from the rest of the internet - temporarily. According to a report on the Russian news site RBC (Link : https://www.rbc.ru/technology_and_media/08/02/2019/5c5c51069a7947bef4503927), the planned disconnection is intended to analyse the country’s preparedness to see how Russia’s internet infrastructure would operate should the country be cut off from the rest of world digitally to protect Russia from external threats and to strengthen the cyber defence capabilities.
