Microsoft Wi-Fi Bus service for its Employees

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE Microsoft has launched Wi-Fi services in its buses for employees. With this launch, Microsoft becomes one of the few companies in India to extend the facility. The service is said to available on all the buses and for all the 23 routes that they take. In keeping with Microsoft’s fast-paced, challenging and fun workplace, these buses will now allow employees to share ideas and collaborate off campus as well. Srinivas Prasad, HR Director Microsoft India (R&D) Private Ltd. said, “Our policies are employee-centric - we are always striving towards making life better for our employees. These Wi-Fi-enabled buses will add another dimension to Microsoft’s work culture. The Wi-Fi connection provided is completely secure and can be used only by the occupants of the bus. Ericsson Employees named "Inventors of the Year"

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Three Ericsson employees who submitted in all 275 patents in radio technology have been named “Inventors of the Year”. It is the 17th consecutive year that Ericsson puts the spotlight on individuals with exceptional ideas and contributions to the company’s patent portfolio. The Inventors of the year are Thomas Cheng, Paul Schliwa-Bertling and IanaSiomina. Gustav Brismark, Vice-President, Patent Strategy and Portfolio, Ericsson, said, “Substantial R&D efforts and creative inventors have ensured our position as the number-one patent holder in mobile telecom.
