Airtel to strengthen Mobile Data Services in Africa

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   As an initiative to enhance its connectivity to Africa and add data carriage capacity in the continent,  Bharti Airtel  has announced the launch of its Africa Connect network. This network is expected to contribute to the growth of internet and data services in the Continent. The network will offer a variety of integrated telecom applications and solutions. Africa Connect  has an integrated fiber and satellite network with 42 Points of Presence (PoP) spread across 17 African countries. The network is supported by infrastructure built by other regional carriers. Intex forays into Indian Surveillance Market
