Bharti and Reliance Jio sign deal to expand Data Network

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio Infocomm have announced that they have signed an Indefeasible Right to Use (IRU) Agreement, under which Bharti will provide Reliance Jio data capacity on its i2i submarine cable as well as direct access and ultra-fast connectivity to major hubs across Asia-Pacific. Reliance Jio will utilize a dedicated fibre pair on Bharti Airtel's i2i submarine cable that connects India and Singapore. Emerging Network Security Technologies are not as effective: Juniper

VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   Juniper Networks  has announced the findings of a new Ponemon Institute report, which revealed that on an average the security posture of Indian organizations surveyed is only 4.7 based on a scale of 10 being very effective.  The Efficacy of Emerging Network Security Technologies study, commissioned globally by Juniper Networks, shows that securing web traffic is by far the most significant network security concern for the majority of organizations (64 per cent) surveyed. However, less than half (46 per cent) of respondents agreed that emerging network security technologies are not as effective as they should be and do not minimize attacks that bring down web applications or block unwarranted Internet traffic. While the X100S is a high-speed successor to the X100 with AF of 0.08 seconds, X20 inherits its high-precision lens and refined design, featuring performance over X10. The X100S features Fujifilm's newly-developed 16.3 million pixels  APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor  with randomized, colour filter arrangement, making the sensor’s performance comparable to full-frame output. VARINDIA- INDIA'S FRONTLINE IT MAGAZINE   MindTree  has announced its results for the fourth quarter and the year ended March 31, 2013, as approved by its Board of Directors. The key highlights of the results reveal that the company has earned a net profit of 55% which is at Rs.789 million, showing a decline of 20.1% q-o-q but a growth rate of 14% y-o-y. The revenue received is at Rs.6,124 million with a growth of 3.8% q-o-q and 16.5% y-o-y. The year ending revenue showed a net profit of Rs.3,389 million which has grown up by 55%. The revenue generated is Rs.23,618 million – up by 23.3%. As of March 31, 2013, the company added 232 new active customers. MindTree added 974 employees during the quarter on a gross basis, whereas 11,951 employees were added as of March 31, 2013.
